Narrative

As part of our residential treatment model, RFK Children’s Action Corps operates an Adventure Education program. The goals of Adventure Education are to improve self confidence and peer/family relationships and build group cohesion. Youth who participate in Adventure Education programs often aren’t successful in traditional educational programs. Adventure Education offers alternative-based physical activities that increase learning for many youth in residential treatment.
