Narrative

The Plymouth Family Resource Center (PFRC) offers parenting and support groups for caregivers and youth, information and referral resources, assessment services, and education programs for families whose children range in age from birth to 18 years old, all free of charge. The Plymouth FRC works with caregivers, children, teens, and any other family members who are a support to the family, whose children may be struggling with school refusal, frequently absent or have challenges at school, home, or are being exploited. The Plymouth FRC team assesses the needs of the family, builds a support plan together, making recommendations for supports and services and assisting in implementing those services. Plymouth Family Resource Center is supported through funding from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families. Plymouth Family Resource Center provides community-based, multi-cultural, support groups, parenting programs, assessment services, information and referral resources, and education for families whose children range in age from birth to 18. Plymouth Family Resource Center operates through Three Tiers of Support: Assessment/Family Support, Resources & Referrals and Groups & Events.
