Narrative

FCR Provides a continuum of services to anyone who has been impacted by trauma, inlcuding:                                                           

  • Services for Elders whose lives are affected by a traumatic experience
  • Dept. of Mental Health licensed outpatient behavioral health services for child, adolescent & adult victims of trauma including: trauma related to substance abuse issues; domestic violence and children who witness violence at home, school or in their community.  Individual, group & family counseling is offered as well as medication management.
  • Domestic Violence - Survivor Advocacy Support Services
  • 24 - Hour Crisis Line
  • Multi-lingual Survivor Services
  • Survivor and Trauma Support Groups for Women
  • Child Witness to Violence Project for children who witness violence in their home, school or community.
  • SAFEBED:  Emergency community-based “Safe Home” Shelter Project for battered women and their children
  • Housing Stabilization Program for survivors of domestic violence.
  • Supervised Visitation Services - Brockton, Hyannis, Quincy and Taunton
  • Parenting Support Services and Educational Groups
  • Civilian Police Advocacy Program for  surrounding police departments: Brockton, Stoughton, W. Bridgewater, Bridgewater, East Bridgewater, Whitman, Abington, Rockland
  • Specialized services for survivors of domestic violence who are Immigrants/Refugees, Veterans, from the LGBTQ community and/or with substance abuse issues
  • Dept. of Public Health Certified Family Violence Offender Program- Brockton, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard
  • Prevention, Education and Outreach
  • Intern and Volunteer Opportunities

FCR provides free, confidential services for victims, including civilian police advocacy services to Brockton, Whitman,  Abington, Rockland, West Bridgewater, Bridgewater and East Bridgewater.

Most community-based services can be provided in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Cape Verdean Creole
