Family Engagement is designed to help support our most isolated families.

The focus of Family Engagement is:

• school readiness and parent support
• empowering parents to be their child’s first teacher
• strengthening the family unit  

Program components include:

• Literacy events
• Read & Rise program
• Moms and Music
• Countdown to Kindergarten
• Young Parents Nurturing program
• Parenting Education and Support Program
• Parent Café series
• Welcome Baby visits and infant massage classes
• other community wide events and activities

Services:

• K-Kare
• Pre-School
• Teen services
• Computer training
• Senior center
• arts academy
• family literacy

Staff: 1 Psychiatrist (consulting), 3 Social workers. Parent group, parent aides and home based counseling. Must live in South Boston.
