Narrative

Fidelco breeds, trains and places German Shepherd guide dogs for people with visual disabilities. People apply and are then approved by our selection committee. Consumer must be legally blind, be an independent traveler and be able to properly care for a dog.

We offer guide dogs only. We do not provide any other type of service dog.

Fidelco is currently accepting new applications only from residents of the following states: the six New England states:

• Maine
• New Hampshire
• Vermont
• Massachusetts
• Rhode Island
• Connecticut

As well as:

• New York
• New Jersey
• Pennsylvania
• Virginia
• Maryland
• Washington, D.C.
