Narrative
MOC’s Food Pantry provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families facing hunger. Food programs include the following:
Emergency Food Assistance which provides food on a monthly basis to low-income residents
Holiday Food Basket Program which provides baskets containing turkeys, canned foods, and other donations to families at Thanksgiving and Christmastime
Summer Feeding Program which provides nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks to children under 18 years living in Fitchburg’s Green Acres and Meadow Brook Village neighborhoods.
MOC sometimes has limited funding available to families who are in need of supplemental fuel and/or rent assistance after they have exhausted all of their federally funded Fuel Assistance Benefits. To qualify, you must have applied for, received, and exhausted all Fuel Assistance Benefits. You must also be low-income and your rent payment must be 50% or less of your monthly income. Eligibility varies by funding source. If you are in need of assistance, please contact us to see if funds are available.
