Narrative

 Approx. 25% of our registrations are from surrounding towns.  Offers museum passes, has programs for children, teens, adults and seniors.

Gale Free Library is a fully ADA accessible building, which includes handicap parking and power access doors.  Wheelchair- accessible computer stations computer stations are also available throughout the building. The staff of Gale Free Library is friendly, informed, and accommodating; if you need additional help, just ask!

Gale Free Library houses a number of useful materials on specific disabilities and related concerns.  In addition, below are resources and aids we offer for specific needs including visual impairment aids.

The Book Express - In partnership with the Holden Senior Center, Gale Free Library delivers library materials to Holden residents who are housebound.  The library personally selects books that are of interest to the participating reader and they are delivered by a Senior Center volunteer.  This program is perfect for those who are temporarily or permanently housebound and would like to receive library books or audio books.
