Narrative
Green River House (GRH) is a small community within the community-at-large assisting adults in their recovery from mental illness. It is one of more than 200 clubhouse programs in 43 states and 21 countries, based upon the “Fountain House” model of psychiatric rehabilitation and community support established in New York City in 1948.
Each member is guaranteed the following:

Green River House is a community-based program that offers adults who are recovering from mental illness a family-style environment in which to establish social ties, explore educational options, and gain experience in the workplace. People work side by side with our professional and caring staff. It is a place which relies upon its members’ talents, skills, and dreams in order to succeed. Each and every member is a highly valued contributor to its success
