Narrative

The Haitian Mental Health Program is a community-based team within the Cambridge Health Alliance. It offers culturally competent and linguistically appropriate service through two health centers in Cambridge and Somerville. Our clinical interventions, sympathetic to Haitian culture, within the context of a full hospital facility, is available to Haitian immigrants and Haitian-Americans. Our staff are Haitian, Haitian-American, and American, fluent in Haitian-Creole, French, and English, and are from the professional fields of psychiatry, psychology, school psychology and social work.
