Narrative

Provides high quality services to low-income families. Head Start has been the primary source for providing a comprehensive, holistic program of education, family support services; special needs, mental health, health, nutrition, and parent involvement to low-income families of the Greater Lawrence area. Funded by the US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), the program also receives funds through the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Massachusetts Department of Education (DOE), Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) and In-kind Donations; and through the private sector.
