Narrative

HMEA's Autism Resource Central was conceived in 1996 by a group of parents to serve primarily as an information and referral service for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders. As a family centered project, the center has expanded to provide family supports, information and referral, education, recreational opportunities and networking. The Autism Resource Center serves 64 towns in North Central, Worcester and South Valley areas of the DDS Central/West Region. The Center offers a variety of programs some are free, some with a suggested donation and some with a nominal cost.
