Narrative

Provides a wide range of services including residential, vocational training and other types of day services, specialized training, family support and clinical services to individuals with developmental disabilities who have an intellectual disability, or who are on the autism spectrum.  Anyone receiving services must go through an eligibility application process.  DDS provides eligible invidiuals with community based services from birth to death. Most individuals and families have contact with DDS through their local DDS Area Office.
