Narrative
The Individualized In-Home Supports (IIHS) program provides community based services to people with intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities (IDD). The program is designed to allow program members to successfully live independently within their own apartment and/or home. Services are provided in the North Central and Greater Worcester Areas. They are funded by the Department of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDS).
The SCL program strives to provide skill building services. We help support people to learn or keep independence within the community. SCL program members are given person-centered case management. It allows each program member to receive customized services to their own needs and goals. Moreover, SCL places a strong emphasis on encouraging self-advocacy, community integrated employment and activities.
People are encouraged to make choices. They are supported to live safely and successfully within their own living setting.
