Narrative

The Intensive Day Habilitation Program is a comprehensive therapeutic day program designed for individuals with significant medical, developmental and other associated disabilities.  Individuals served by this specialized program are predominantly non-verbal and non- ambulatory.  Programming focuses on communication, social engagement, gross motor development, and the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.

Individuals receive a range of therapies and services from nursing, occupational, physical and speech therapies, as well as behavioral interventions as needed. The program utilizes standing tables and other apparatus to get people out of their wheelchair during the day and provide the array of stretching, massaging and other therapeutic interventions necessary for optimal health.

Each participant has an individualized plan with the goal of providing the range of supports to meet his or her potential and interest. Stable and compassionate staffing is a hallmark of this program.

Participants must have Medicaid and 3rd Party Funding.
