Private practice clinician certified in working with individuals with ASD .

I have been working as a psychotherapist for eleven years and received my certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders in May of 2011. I have experience in working with children on the Autism spectrum in a school environment providing counseling and implementing supportive behavioral plans. I also enjoyed working collaboratively with occupational therapists and speech/language therapists to address pragmatic and sensory issues. I also have experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and issues related to executive functioning and processing disorders.

I have been co-leading an Autism Social skills group for the past ten years helping children develop increased social awareness and skills, and self-esteem building. It is a supportive group that promotes education, kindness, and friendship. I also provide psychoeducation to parents to help support their children across home, school, and leisure environments.
