Narrative

The Massachusetts Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service makes referrals to regular fee and reduced fee attorneys.

All the lawyers on our service are private for hire. We do offer reduced-fee referrals in some areas of law for those who do not qualify for free legal services.  Please contact the LRS directly at 617-654-0400 or 866-627-7577 to see if you’re eligible for a Reduced fee referral. 

MBA has sponsored a monthly Dial-A-Lawyer program encouraging members of the public to call with their legal problems and questions.  This program was created to help the people of Massachusetts that have fallen through the cracks of the legal and criminal justice system.

The Dial-A-Lawyer program is held on the first Wednesday of every month between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
