Narrative
Leander House, Inc. is a private not-for-profit organization founded in 1996. We are licensed and certified by the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) in Massachusetts. Nestled in the heart of the Southern Berkshires in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, we currently have two homes serving adults with intellectual disabilities. Each home is shared by the host family or house manager, 2-3 adults with disabilities and a full-time volunteer intern. We live as family and share life as a family would.
