Narrative

Fuel assistance is managed and delivered through 21 Local Administering Agencies across the state. Many of these same agencies deliver the weatherization assistance and heating system repair and replacements programs in coordination with other energy conservation initiatives. Additional services such as emergency energy assistance, budget counseling, utility discounts and arrearage managment are also offered.  Local agencies accept referrals from other service providers and assist special need population, if applicable.

Total household income cannot exceed 60% of the estimated State Median Income (SMI).
