Narrative

The MA Inclusive Concurrent Enrollment Initiative (MAICEI) provides high school students with significant (typically intellectual and/or developmental) disabilities the opportunity to have a college experience alongside their non-disabled peers. MAICEI students, herein referred to as participants, are supported by the ICE program coordinator/advisor, educational coaches, which are provided by the sending school districts, and student mentors.  The goal of the MAICEI Program is to enhance the academic access, career development and social/emotional growth of its participants. Below is an outline of the program activities that support the accomplishment of these goals.
