Narrative

Manville School is a DOE approved private day school for children ages 5 to 15 years, with emotional, behavioral, neurological and/or learning disabilities which inhibit their school performance. Students are on IEPs and referred from cities and towns in the Greater Boston area. Classrooms are staffed with a special education teacher, assistant teacher and a milieu counselor and offer individualized & small group instruction coupled with a strongly supportive therapeutic program. Provides crisis intervention counseling, individual psychotherapy, social skills groups, pragmatic language groups, therapeutic student groups, parent work, parent support groups, and family work . Follow Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. SLP, OT, Reading and Math Specialists provide individual and in-class services as prescribed on student's IEP.
