March of Dimes' goal is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects & infant mortality. The mission is achieved through programs of research, community services, education & advocacy. The March of Dimes provides accurate timely information on issues relating to pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, birth defects, prematurity and related topics.
