Narrative

Since 1983, the Coalition has operated a direct service program, a Furniture Bank, which solicits and distributes donations of furniture and household goods to shelters and to homeless households moving back into their own apartment. Last year, this program distributed more than $3 million worth of donated goods to more than 3,200 households and service programs, thus helping tight budgets stretch a little further to meet survival needs.  We also provide information, referral + case advocacy assistance to people experiencing a housing crisis.
