Narrative

Provides Family Leadership Series and works to educate the community about advocacy, services, and local, state and federal resources for people with disabilities. Regional chapters throughout the state. 

Provides and promotes networking, education and training support that families need as they strive to become influential and effective advocates for their family member. Organizes a Family Leadership Series each year to provide information about best practices and opportunities to support people with disabilities and their families to fully participate in all aspects of community life. Particular focus is given to influencing policy at the local, state and national level and in assisting families in creating an "enviable life" for their family member.  Most trainings, workshops & conferences are free - small fees for a very few activities.
