Narrative

Provides and promotes networking, education and training support that families need. They can strive to become influential and effective advocates for their family member.

Organizes a Family Leadership Series each year to provide information about best practices and opportunities to support individuals with disabilities and their families.  People can learn to fully participate in all aspects of community life. Particular focus is given to influencing policy at the local, state and national level. Assists families in creating an "enviable life" for their family member. 

Massachusetts Families Organizing for Change Metro-Boston Region is one of five regions comprising the state wide group Massachusetts Families Organizing for Change.  Most trainings, workshops & conferences are free - low fees for a very few activities.
