Narrative

MGH Aspire helps children, teens and adults with a high cognitive autism spectrum disorder or a related social profile make social connections and develop independence. At MGH Aspire our participants learn age and developmentally appropriate skills needed succeed at home, school, in their communities or in the work place. Our approach is to teach social skills, life skills and other behavioral strategies within a small-group setting.  Therefore, we offer a variety of school-year, fall, spring and summer programs. Additionally, thematic groups are offered based on a theme or a particular interest.  Aspire aims to meet the needs of underserved communities in the metro Boston area and offers financial aid based on need.
