Narrative

Milestones is an intensive 766 approved day school serving ages (7-22) focusing on students with neuro-cognitive deficits and emotional challenges.  Our program uses a developmentally based philosophy to understand children as our students are missing critical development skills or stages.  Milestones helps students by teaching these skills to enable true growth that generalizes beyond the walls of our school.  Milestones' strong parent-partnership program allows parents and staff to collaborate to help students achieve goals.  Our program offers an intensive therapeutic approach with daily instruction of social skills, coping and sensory skills, executive functioning, emotional development, and self-esteem, paired with a rigorous academic curriculum and learning support.

Milestones also offers an innovative transitions program for students age 16-22 focusing on transitioning to work/college. This program provides intensive learning of academic skills, work and/or college skills, and a host of executive functioning strategies paired with specific instruction for social skills in the work place or college facility.

We have rolling admissions and host weekly informational tours open to the public.
