Narrative

SNAP Ceramics teaches the fundamentals and more advanced techniques of ceramics. 

SNAP Crafts brings together individuals with developmental disabilities to work on craft projects. 

Special Artists Classes bring together individuals with developmental disabilities to work on art projects.  Participants work at their own pace in a supportive and fun environment, emphasizing creativity and friendship.  Special Artists work on different projects each session and activities can include watercolor/acrylic painting, fabric painting, wood projects, and multi-media art.

Other programs include: Sing Along Chorus, for older teens and young adults and Sing Along Singers, for older adults. The music programs are open to anyone who can travel to Lexington. Registration for the choruses is by the semester, fall and winter/spring. The participation fee for each semester is $220. Special Artists, an arts and crafts program for adults, ages 22+, is also offered. Scholarships are available.
