Narrative
SNAP Ceramics teaches the fundamentals and more advanced techniques of ceramics.
SNAP Crafts brings together people with developmental disabilities (DD) to work on craft projects.
Special Artists Classes bring together people with DD to work on art projects. People work at their own pace in a supportive and fun space, emphasizing creativity and friendship. Special Artists work on different projects each session. Activities can include watercolor/acrylic painting, fabric painting, wood projects, and multi-media art.
Other programs include:
- Sing Along Chorus, for older teens and young adults
- Sing Along Singers, for older adults
The music programs are open to anyone who can travel to Lexington. Registration for the choruses is by the semester, fall and winter/spring. The participation fee for each semester is $220. Special Artists, an arts and crafts program for adults, ages 22+, is also offered. Scholarships are available.
