Narrative

Our year round programming features, adaptive skiing and adaptive snowboarding in the winter months, adaptive paddle sports and adaptive hiking in the summer and fall.

Anyone can enjoy the benefits of kayaking and/or paddle boarding! NEHSA offers adaptive lessons to people of all ages and all disabilities. Among the athletes participating in our summer activities are amputees, visually impaired, people who have experienced strokes, polio, life changing accidents, developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, and any other conditions for which people might require assistance.

Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury NH is home to our adaptive winter sport programs. We offer adaptive skiing, (stand up and sit down), adaptive snowboarding and ski bike lessons.

Adaptive ski and snowboard lessons are available to people of all ages and abilities, December through late March. Taking part in adaptive winter sports provides them an opportunity to learn new skills, build physical and mental strength, and have a great time outdoors with friends and family.
