Narrative

The Cognitive Neurology Unit (CNU) is an outpatient clinic for the evaluation and treatment of people who have difficulties in:

  • concentration
  • memory
  • perception
  • language
  • emotional consequences resulting from an injury or disease affecting the nervous system 
  • concerns about aging and cognition
  • learning disabilities 
  • attention deficit disorder (ADD)
  • other neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism spectrum disorders)

Our staff has expertise in cognitive neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, neurorehabilitation and social work.

Neuropsychiatry specializes in treating the psychiatric symptoms of patients with primary neurological diseases and contributes to diagnosis and treatment in psychiatric patients with cognitive symptoms.
