Dr. Traniello is the clinical director of New England Associates for Psychological Services, an interdisciplinary group practice located in Norwood, Massachusetts. We provides outpatient mental health services to children and adults with co-occurring developmental disabilities (DD)..  

• Types of Services offered:
  • Group work specialized for sexually problematic/offense behavior
  • Individual work specialized for sexually problematic/offense behavior
  • Family Support work specialized for sexually problematic/offense behavior
  • Evidence based individual therapy (e.g., CBT for anxiety, depression, or trauma)

Experience with Specialized Populations:

•  Mild Mental Retardation or developmental disability in the PDD/Autism Spectrum
• Teen emergence of major mental illness (e.g., Bipolar Disorder, Psychotic Disorders)
• Severe verbal or non-verbal learning disability
• Severe trauma population (e.g., fragile PTSD, complex trauma adaptation, dissociation)
• Co-occurring disorder: psychiatric disability and substance abuse
• Youth with unusually high medical care needs (e.g., HIV, diabetes, potentially lethal allergy)
