Narrative

NEHSA is a group of people who pool their knowledge, skills and courage to participate in sports activities. Skiing remains the central sport because of its amazing adaptability to many types of disabilities. Programs include both winter and summer sports. 

Our athletes range from amputees, persons recovered from polio or strokes, people with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, paraplegia and quadriplegia, visual and/or deaf, and people with developmental disabilities (DD).
