Narrative

Special educational collaborative serving Abington, Bridgewater-Raynham Regional, East Bridgewater, West Bridgewater, Hanover, Rockland, Whitman-Hanson Regional. Has an elementary counseling program and after school program for regular education students.

The overarching goal of the North River School (NRS) is to provide middle school and high school students with a highly structured and therapeutic setting while ensuring the 21st century skills they will require post-graduation are taught and developed.

NRS addresses the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of students individually with the most current and best practices. In addition to traditional academic subjects, students also participate in daily living skills classes such as Culinary class, the Innovation Studio, and social emotional learning.

The NRS curriculum has been developed with the intention of meeting students where they are in their educational process and providing consistent support during the academic day.

Tuition is paid by the referring school system.
