Narrative

UCP of Western MA offers a wide variety of programs geared to support the entire family. Whether you need help for your child with a disability, or you’re an adult with disabilities, we offer highly personalized services to fit the specific needs of your family.

UCP’S  Family Support Centers offer Service Navigation by providing information and guidance, support groups and comprehensive family training programs like DDS Disability 101. This program is designed for people who are new to the disability market, who may need help navigating the opportunities and benefits offered by the MA Department of Developmental Services (DDS).

The Intensive Flexible Family Support Program (IFFS) is for children and families experiencing  crisis situations. UCP connects the family with vital community resources to enable them to overcome their challenges.

The Department of Elementary Secondary Education is for children with higher levels of need. The goal is to keep them living safely at home with their families, and out of institutional settings and schools.

Disability Resources provides you with a comprehensive directory for individuals with disabilities and their families to help you find the exact assistance you need, when you need it.
