Trainings are held during the year in different regions around the state.
MASS is a statewide self-advocacy organization governed by people with disabilities (PwD). MASS provides professionally run trainings presented by self-advocates focused on employment and how to recognize, report and respond to abuse. MASS holds regional self-advocacy monthly meetings in the Central, Northeast, Metro and Southeast regions of MA.
MASS also offers Rainbow Support groups. MASS helps self-advocates speak up for themselves about services that are important to them such as transportation and employment. We support local, regional and statewide self-advocacy groups. We work on issues that make a positive difference in the lives of people wtih disabilities.
