Narrative

Provides outpatient services for individuals & their families who do not require hospitalization. Specialize in diagnostic, consultation & treatment services for children, adolescents, & the elderly.

If you have been referred to Starting Now by an employer or by the courts and are not an appropriate candidate for our Intensive Outpatient Program, then individual outpatient counseling may be recommended.
Treatment will focus on your individual needs as they relate to your use of alcohol or other drugs.

Starting Now offers twice-weekly early recovery groups and once-weekly relapse prevention groups for people who have already received primary drug and alcohol addiction treatment and are looking for support in maintaining their recovery in a therapeutic setting. The goal of Starting Now's outpatient program is to help you return to full and healthy functioning physically, mentally and socially.

Skills learned in Starting Now's outpatient groups include:

• learning to recognize and manage relapse warning signs
• developing thought patterns that support sober living
• establishing daily structure and engaging in an exercise and healthy diet plan
• cultivating a social network that will enhance your recovery.
