Narrative

Para Rowing at CRI provides individuals with physical and cognitive challenges an opportunity to be a part of a rowing community that values teamwork, self-determination, and commitment to personal goals. Through the sport of rowing, people of all abilities become athletes, learn to take risks, develop confidence, and enjoy the benefits of learning together in a community that supports a healthy lifestyle.

CRI offers rowing classes and training for participants with any level of experience, and can accommodate a wide range of abilities. All programs include highly trained staff and equipment suited for beginners and experienced rowers, ages 12 and up. On-water programming runs from April to October with most activity and racing taking place in the late summer and early fall. The indoor season begins in November and runs through March. Please call or email in advance to schedule an intake assessment with the Para Rowing Coordinator, and to learn more about fees and practice times. Financial aid & volunteer opportunities are available.
