Narrative
The Personal Care Management Program is a self-directed program for individuals who need help with personal care. Individuals must be on Mass Health to qualify. Western Massachusetts Elder Care will assist in finding care givers but families must provide and supervise the care. If incapable, a surrogate may be chosen. Care giver may be a family member (not a spouse). A tax free stipend is provided and there is no age limit to qualify.
