Narrative

Adult Palliative Care focuses on having the best possible quality of life and preserving dignity by lessening symptoms associated with a chronic medical condition. Because this level of care is a non-hospice service, adult patients need not have a life-limiting illness.

All children less than 19 years old, who are found by a doctor to have a potentially life-limiting illness, are eligible for the program.
