Narrative

The Pediatric Palliative Care Network (PPCN) serves the unmet physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of eligible children in Massachusetts and their families. Services are provided at no cost to children 22 years old and younger who have a life-limiting illness.

Palliative care services may include:

  • Pain and symptom management
  • Nursing
  • Assessment and case management
  • Spiritual care
  • Social services
  • Sibling support
  • Volunteer support
  • Complementary therapies such as music, art, massage, and others
  • Bereavement care if needed
