Narrative

A town financed program staffed by volunteers. Oversees town adherence to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Our Transportation is for disabled residents under the age of 60. Accessible Vans are used. The C.O.D. ensures handicapped accessibility of our towns sidewalks and public buildings.

The C.O.D. takes donations of medical equipment, used eyeglasses, (including prescription sunglasses) COPD & Diabetic supplies, adult undergarments. The Commission gives away the donations it receives free of charge to anyone in need of it. No used commodes or toilet seat risors can be taken due to strict state and local health codes. All donations must be clean and in good working condition.
