Narrative

The Perkins Library offers over 75,000 books, newspapers and other publications. Accessible formats include braille, large print and audiobooks.

Free books and magazines in braille, audio, and large print; described DVDs; downloadable audio, and braille; telephone access to newspapers, and free or discounted museum passes. Reference services, children and young adult services and programming, and services in Spanish, with materials available in other languages. All materials are sent postage-free via US mail. Available to anyone blind, visually impaired, or with a physical or reading disability, or to organizations serving these populations.  Playback equipment and accessories are loaned free. Open Monday - Friday, 8:30-5 pm., except holidays. Must apply for services. Can download an application by calling the Library or download through the website.
