Narrative

Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) are available to eligible people to help with activities of daily living (ADLs) that they are physically unable to perform on their own.

PCAs can help with tasks such as dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating and light housekeeping. Consumers direct their own services. PCAs are employed by the person with a disability and not BCIL.

To be eligible, a person must need help and have Medicaid / MassHealth or Commonhealth.
