Narrative

Stavros Personal Assistance Services or Personal Care Attendant Program helps people with long-term disabilities to live at home.  Funds to hire attendants to help with activities of daily living (ADLs) like medications, grooming, housekeeping and more. All Personal Care Attendant consumers must be Mass Health Standard members and the Personal Care Attendant's work for the consumer, not STAVROS.  Tempus Unlimited  processes the payroll only.

The person must need physical (hands-on) help with at least two ADLs (mobility, bathing/grooming, dressing/undressing, passive range of motion exercises for keeping limbs and joints limber and flexible, taking medications, eating, and toileting).

Stavros nurses and occupational therapists visit and evaluate each consumer in their own home.  Typical length of process from your request to a decisions is about 6 to 8 weeks.  Call the above number or visit the website for more information.
