Narrative

Foundations Program:

The FOUNDATIONS program is designed to provide intensive ABA therapy for nonverbal children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. Children accepted to the FOUNDATIONS program receive 1:1 therapy in a warm and nurturing environment. Upon acceptance to the program, the primary treatment goal is to teach each child the value of communication

Connections Program:

The CONNECTIONS program is designed to teach children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder how to make and keep friends as well as how to participate in a classroom setting. Daily schedules are individualized to each child’s unique learning profile. Transitions are also carefully introduced throughout the day as each child learns to follow a teacher directed schedule. Teaching programs focus on strengthening each child’s communication skills with peers. Direct social skill instruction may be delivered 1:1, in a pair or in a small group setting.

Social Skills Group

Social skills group focus on teaching children with autism how to make and keep friends, strengthen communication skills, and build upon their foundation play skills. The social skill group also targets a variety of group skills, as well as facilitate conflict resolution between peers and friends. Our therapists encourage positive interactions and social skills through a variety of sensory enriched activities and discussions on a daily basis. These skills are taught and monitored using the core principles of ABA and overseen by an onsite BCBA.
