Narrative
Project Forward is a work training skills program for students with intellectual disabilities (ID). It provides an exploratory career assessment including course offerings in:
- basic food preparation
- office technology
- basic retail
- institutional maintenance
- landscaping
- child care assist
- info tech
- mass communication
- cafe customer service
- hospitality
- work-life skills
Also, second year students participate in a cooperative work-study experience connecting work-based learning at a local job site.
