Narrative

Reed Academy is a 5 day per week school providing services for boys ages 7 – 14 (upon admission. Reed serves boys through age 22). Boys have a variety of social and emotional needs. 

Our therapuetic program includes family, group, and individual therapy.  Our curriculum follow the MA Common Core. It is tailored for each of our student's IEPs.  We are a year round program, offering a more "camp-like" program during the summer months. This helps prevent any social, emotional, or educational regression. Students can go swimming, fishing, on field trips, garden in our organic garden, cooking and computers,  hiking and biking in the nearby 500 acre Callahan State Park.  Our clinical, teaching and administrative staff work year-round to ensure that students receive a program designed to meet their academic and social/emotional needs.
