Narrative

Year-round, psycho-educational program for seriously emotional disabled children/ adolescents who require day or residential treatment services. Provides a group living program on the center's grounds and a special education program through the New Directions School. Fees paid through Department of Mental Health (or other) and tuition collected through school systems.

The Three Rivers Program is called a “Clinically Intensive Residential Treatment Program” (CIRT). It is the most intensive residential treatment setting provided by Massachusetts for children under 13 years of age, and it is also the only CIRT in the state.
