Narrative

Established in 1957, Riverbrook Residence, Inc. located in a historic mansion in Stockbridge, MA, provides residential placement, supported employment, skill building and community-based day support to women with developmental disabilities. The oldest all-women residence in the Northeast, Riverbrook is a model of care for women age 22 and up with Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, vision and hearing impairments and other developmental challenges. 

 Riverbrook Residence offers residential services in Stockbridge MA and in Shared Living placements throughout Berkshire County.  Day Programs are mostly concentrated in the Southern Berkshire towns of: Stockbridge, West Stockbridge, Great Barrington, Sheffield, Egremont, Lee and Lenox.  Programs occasionally extend to the Central Berkshire/Pittsfield area.
