Narrative

Residential program with 24 hour a day coverage and 2:3 staff/client ratio, for clients with mild/moderate intellectual disability who attend a day program or are competitively employed. Supervision is provided in all residential skill areas and community integration, to facilitate movement to a cooperative apartment setting. Fee: Department of Developmental Services contract.

At WORK Inc. we are proud of the opportunities that have been created for adults with disabilities to live as independently as possible in our communities. Our agency provides high quality residential support services in 24 hour residential group homes throughout the Greater Boston area. Over 80 individuals are successfully supported in these community-based housing programs. Each group home provides services to up to five people, and each home is staffed by our dedicated and experienced staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Each community residential home provides services to five (5) or fewer individuals, and each is staffed by a dedicated and competent workforce 24 hours a day, seven days a week. On the South Shore, our group homes are located in Quincy, Milton, Braintree, Stoughton, Randolph and Brockton. On the North Shore, we have group homes in West Roxbury, Winthrop, Andover, and Methuen. Our group homes are located in attractive and comfortable houses and condominium complexes.   Our residences function on a community-based rehabilitation model supporting people to achieve their personal goals and live independently.
